Yay, I graduated Couch to 5k this morning!!!
I'd managed to get 5k in my last 2 runs, the first in 30:37, the 2nd in 29:47. This last run wasn't ever about speed, more about just enjoying the graduation run. I'm also on holiday in Woolacombe Devon so had the challenge of finding somewhere to run for 30 minutes (as pavements are scare around here!) Ran a few laps round the campsite, down a country lane, over fences, through gates, dodged cow pats, over rocks, all in the rain, lol!!! Was defintely different, but quite enjoyed it and carried on to get another 5k.
Cto5K really is a fab course, and i definitely recomend it if you fancy giving running a go. I never imagined i would get this far, or ever get a 5k sub 30mins! πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ I still find running really hard, but really enjoy the sense of achievement when you've finished each run, which is whats kept me going over the last 9 weeks πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Good luck to everyone completing the course. Believe in yourself, and you will do itπππ
