I actually made it to the end! Google fit says I ran 4.65km so will need to increase the time of my runs over the next few weeks...but still really proud to have achieved it!
I started this being overweight, having never run before and hating PE as a child. Though the main reason was to overcome the anxiety that had developed during shielding - going from an outgoing, busy person to not being able to leave the house took some getting used to. And I'm only really beginning the journey to feel ok out and about. I've only run in my local park, usually leaving the house before 6.30AM (often before 6!) so that I could avoid other people, but hope to run along the seafront and join parkrun when it's up and running again.
Thank you so much for all your reassurance and support over the past 9 weeks.
I'm a runner!!
