I cannot believe it! I actually did it! Managed a respectable 4.1k in the 30min of running time too.
Two months ago, I never would have believed that little old asthmatic me, who has never (I mean, never) run before, would complete the c25k programme. I'm so proud of myself. And my husband and kiddies made Paw Patrol cupcakes for me, to celebrate!
Thank you to everyone who supported me through it all, many of you without knowing as I read posts without always commenting.
I'll still be around anyway, hoping to consolidate my fitness over the next month or so. I've booked a 5k fun run with my husband and siblings-in-law for June. It's obstacle courses and all sorts, but I'm sure I'll do a "proper" 5k before then. Maybe park run...
Anyway, cheers everyone! Xx

Congratulations! Enjoy the cupcakes... you earned them and theyβre excellent running fuel π
5k with obstacles... whatβs not proper about that? It will be tougher if anything... great fun too no doubt, especially sharing it with loved ones. Enjoy the rest of your celebration day.
Yay!!!! Well done! Amazing feeling isn't it? Sounds like the Color run in June, I'm also thinking about it in Milton Keynes. Well done on your massive achievement, I look forward to your post graduate posts, step on to the podium please! X

Oh not yet. I'm starting at one which isn't my local, as I'll be away from home next weekend. I'll be running with my sister-in-law. But probably not WITH her!
Congratulations on graduating, I have my final run this week and like you I have never been a runner, struggled with the breathing aspect but am super chuffed at how far I've come. Well done to you, enjoy knowing you can do it and feel very very proud of the achievement. You're a big bright shiny star and should continue shining ππ
Either tomorrow or Wednesday. Strangely I look forward to my runs now too! Couch25k really is amazing how it has transformed so many people's lives who struggled with running before.
I think they were excited by the cupcakes. My 5 year old son told his dad, whilst I was out, that it was the best day of his life! But it was lovely nonetheless! You have only a few weeks to go, I think?
