Week9 last run

I have just got in from my last wk9 run after a week off I was a bit worried about not being able to complete the run. But I'm happy to say that not only did I finish it but was able to carry on for another five minutes so that I ran 4k . I cannot believe I have completed the c25k it has changed me I love being out in the fresh air no matter what the weather. I use to drive pass people jogging in the rain and think are they mad now I'm one of them and I know why they do it. To anyone just starting the programme stick at it ,it works and is so worth it.

  • Ha ha , I'm on wk 6 , but I'm hooked . I was like you , used to see people jogging /running , & I used to think idiots why run when they can walk ! Now I'm same , and I now get it lol .

  • Oh forgot to say congratulations on your graduation .

  • Congratulations!

Just in from my run this morning too and I was also remembering about how I used to look at folk running and think WHY?? It's great to hear that you had the oomph to carry on and do 4k too, good for you!

Remember and ask for your badge :)

  • Well done and congratulations on graduating. I'll bet your like me now too when you see a runner, I slow down to let them cross over the road. A second here or there for me slowing down in the car means nothing to a runner though it could make the difference in a new PB :)

  • Well done and congratulations
