Absolutely! 😊 My first run on week 1 , I hadn’t sussed out my music and that 60 secs felt so long! 🀣 Second run with music, it was like night and day! πŸ˜„ Then I discovered Japanese Slow Running and I was off (very slowly)! 😊

:) Totally relate! I finished wk7 run 3 yesterday (in the monsoon rain) and just felt on such a high. I can't wait for the next run too. Well done, it sounds like you have really got the running bug.

Well done hun. And in that bad weather πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ. It rained a little today whilst I was out and it felt good to be cooled down. When you running next? X

Thank you :) I think I'll do Tuesday evening after work. I didn't discover the strengthening exercises on here until a couple of weeks ago when I joined so I'm trying to be careful and give myself plenty rest even though I'm itching to get out. It has taken me years to get the courage/motivation to do this so I'm worried about getting injured and having to give up so I'm trying to do things by the book. Let me know how wk8 run 1 goes - I'm excited for you/us!!

Just noticed you run with your daughter. So do I!! It's been the best thing for us ever. One of the blessings of lockdown x

Aw where do I find the strengthening bit?

Your doing it the right way πŸ™Œ I feel like I could go back out tomorrow but a days rest in between is a must.

BRING ON TUESDAY πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

I use these ones that were recommended by Iannoda Truffe when I joined here.

GO TUESDAY!!

Great job... plenty left in the tank too... fitness is ahead of your running. Enjoy week 8.

Thank you 😊I’m loving it. I do workout 3 times a week and walk a lot but this is on another level πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

Sounds like you got fitness down... cross training is perfect... workouts benefit from running, and runners with stronger bodies suffer less injuries. I love walking too, it stops me sitting and keeps my legs loose.
