So I have just completed week 7 this morning, still feeling great when I run and looking forward to starting week 8 run 1 on Sunday morning, the following week I go away so my first run of week 9 will be in Marbella as I'm off on a little mini break so that worked out nice 😁 my question is to you graduates is I always run on grass, now if I run on the wet sand while I'm away is this harder to do?

  • Yes, it will feel harder! Can you mix up the terrain a little? Happy holidays!😀

  • Thank you for the advice, I may skip the beach run and choose another route 😊

  • Oh yes.. and the strain on your calf muscles is quite profound..... be very slow and steady and be aware of any twinges... as Sandraj39 says.. shake up the routes a little and really enjoy!!

  • Thank you, I thought it might be harder, I will choose another route and do a beach run when I have graduated and with a little more experience under my belt 😊

  • Well done 👍🏼 I'm also starting WK8R1 on Sunday morning so we can be virtual running buddies!! Good luck 😉

  • Good luck to you too, 😊
