Hi I'm new here, joined last night and have enjoyed reading lots of supportive posts and feel very inspired by them all. I wish I had discovered this in week 1! I've just finished week 6 and this is the first time I have ever ran. I turned 50 this year and I faced the reality I'm very overweight and extremely unfit! I also recovered from multiple pulmonary embolisms in both lungs and then quite major surgery in the last four years. I have never felt so amazing as I do now. I still can't believe that someone like me is out there running and can only say to anyone, if I can do it, then the programme is a miracle worker!
