I just wanted to say hello. My husband just completed C25K and swears by it. After careful deliberation and a need to do something about my weight, I went out three times this week and have completed week one. I found it hard, but actually surprised myself that I actually enjoyed it. I hope I can keep it up. I'm very proud, but envious of my husband for starting his new running routine. It would be great if we could eventually do it together. Anyway, hello and I hope to be posting good progress soon!
Hi There! New here. : I just wanted to say hello... - Couch to 5K
Hi There! New here.
Hello! Great username Glad the first week went well. My partner and I don't run together because he's so fast, but we'll do Parkrun together occasionally and meet at the end.
Well done for deciding to do it. I have just completed week one as well, and am loving it! Keep us posted on your progress, am sure you will be running together next year x
Welcome Jogswithdogs .😊Well done on completing week one. Take it slow and steady and you will do it. There is no rush this is your journey, but its nice to have hubby encouraging and giving you tips.
Good luck...and keep going😊
Hello! Congratulations on completing week 1! Good luck with the rest of the programme, I hope you'll have as much fun as I did. You feel a great sense of achievement after each run. It works really well and just take it at your pace. Great that your husband is supportive too. Maybe you'll be faster than him one day! 😉 🏃🏼♀️🏃🏻
Well done for completing week 1 - glad you enjoyed it. It's a great programme - works so well for building up what you can do.
Good on you. I was the same as you. When starting week one, I was astonished to realise I actually enjoyed it. It is a sport when you can push yourself if you want, it gives you some "me" time, and you become aware of your surrounding and how beautiful it is. Maybe runners are a different breed but life is good.
Welcome and well done for completing week 1. Just take the programme at your own pace and you will make great progress.
