W9R1 finally did it!

After having to abort my attempt yesterday, due to the beginning of an asthma attack I was gutted! But after a restful day was up bright and early, before the pollen demons could get me! Took all the meds, hankie and inhaler tucked in my leggings, Vaseline smeared under my nose πŸ™€...apparently it blocks pollen from entering your nose...πŸ™„...proof to all those beginner runners out there that you quickly lose all self-consciousness about what you look like running 😹! I always struggle with the first five minutes, often the full Toxic Ten, but especially after what happened yesterday 😭. However, just turned up my music louder and screaming at myself I pushed through, and as soon as I was past that point where I started to feel unwell yesterday, I was fine, and everything loosened up.

Yes, I had to sing aloud and wave my arms around a lot, and possibly have damaged my ear drums due to how loud my music was, but I ran 30 minutes without stopping, and my fastest times in two weeks!

Thank you to everyone who supported me yesterday when I had my asthma problems. I really could not have done any of this without the support of this forum. I feel fantastic now!
