How the hell did that happen?

Today I went out for only the third time in two months. Those of you who read my previous blog will know the reasons why.

I had Laura talking me through W5R2, but after the first 8 minutes I decided to carry on and see if I could do W5R3, the dreaded 20 minutes. So in a slightly schizophrenic manner, I had Laura and her music playing at the same time as the rather disturbing disembodied voice of Runkeeper was informing me of my pace and distance every 5 minutes.

Guess what. I did it. I ran for 20 minutes without stopping. It was slow (only covered 1.55 miles) but I don't care. I did it and I'm still alive!!

How the hell did that happen???

Hi egs well done and welcome back. Its amazing how well our bodies hold onto fitness previously gained and you were right to keep on running because you listened to your body and knew you could do it. Good luck for your next run on Saturday!?! :)

So do we all Ed (and you too! You've been too quiet lately).

Well done Sian hope the 'run' of better health continues (ptp as Fingalo would say) and the rest of c25k goes well for you.
