Wk9 R3 completed - woohoo πŸŽ‰

Completed my final run of the programme today! Hot and humid out there but managed to keep to my normal pace. (Very slow but consistent πŸ˜‚)

I started the programme at the end of January but repeated most weeks so has taken me a while. Slow and steady snail (tortoise is too fast).

I started using Nike Running Club app in week 9, as felt the distance stats from my Fitbit were misleading. I was right - I’m only covering 3k in 30 mins but it was the run time that was my goal rather than distance. Glad I didn’t know how slow I was in Wk 4 though as it might have put me off 🀣🀣🀣

Will read the consolidation stuff and aiming for a 30 min run every 3 days, as my test days normally have 40 mins karate or 1hr walk, so every 2 days is a bit much.

Good luck to everyone still doing it.

So pleased I can graduate now and can just casually say β€œI’m going for a run” - these are not words I’ve ever used before!

Thanks to everyone for the encouragement and advice. I haven’t posted a lot but have found it very reassuring that so many other people have had similar challenges and the suggestions have always been great.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K πŸŽ“ πŸƒπŸΎ πŸ‘

To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE πŸŽ“ next to your username leave a message on the June graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated πŸŽ“ πŸƒπŸΎ

The main thing with C25K is to run for 30 minutes in week 9 three times. 😊 πŸƒπŸΎ πŸŽ“
