Well after a pretty sleepless night fretting over wether I could do this run. I had read so many things about it ! But also read lots of positive stories so I just went out and did it.
A glorious morning to be out and I did it. Crazy slow of course but although tempted to stop I carried on and got to the end. Jo was in my ear telling me I could do it and for once in my life I believed someone.
I was seriously on the couch ! Probably 7 weeks ago. As a very unfit 65yr old Iβd never jogged let alone run anywhere in my life. But now thanks to this programme Iβm slow jogging 20 mins. I donβt care that I donβt go far or fast I as Iβm actually doing it. I think distance and time will come as I keep doing it.
Now for a well earned breakfast and definitely a glass of wine tonight to celebrate.
I almost feel excited at the prospect of week 6 ! Golly did I just say that π€£π€£π€£.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, don't worry about speed, you should be very proud of yourself and deserve a glass of wine to celebrate π
Onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run and run 2 because it's back to interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran ππΎ π
Yay, well done you! Thatβs just brilliant π₯³ππ. What youβve achieved is great. All that hard work paid off.
I know what you mean, when you start 20 mins seems impossible, (not just when you start lol) but youβve achieved it, and you feel like a super star βοΈ Just as you should. Go snails πππ.
Relax, enjoy the weekend, youβre a runner!!! πββοΈπββοΈ
Don't worry, it was fine for me, just be aware that the stopping and starting after a non stop run is different, as long as you bear that in mind you'll be fine, it won't take you by surprise! By the end of next week you won't have any more walking intervals, but you'll be more than ready for that x
Yaaaay!!! So pleased for you, it's such a great feeling. Isn't the programme just amazing π
Btw, from one fellow π to another, I bet you're running faster now than you were and than you think you are. I think I'm still as slow as ever, but my daughters tell me I'm definitely faster and I'm definitely getting further so there's something in what they're saying, bet it's the same for you too!
A great read!! Well done! Iβm taking huge hope and strength from you as this is the one Iβm due to complete on Sunday! Feels like a major step up! π
