I’ve just burst into tears in the middle of a path! I put off this run by a day due to not feeling it, twinge in my ankle, rain and seeing one magpie! I knew I had to do it as it was becoming a mental block that had changed my entire mood. So I hitched up my big girl pants and just went and did it. When Michael Johnson said two minutes to go I had tears in my eyes when he said “that’s it - you did it” well I just burst into tears. I’m so blummin glad I did it and a little bit proud. Mind over matter, don’t think about it like I did just do it!

Run 3 week 5 - mental not physical

Fantastic! Well done.

Well done, every little triumph means you are further on your way.

Ha ha, Helen, if you are like that after completing run 3 of week 5, what will your feelings be when you graduate after running run 3 of week 9 👍🏃🏾
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊.
Well done!!! You should definitely be proud of yourself.... you did it!!!

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.

I’m starting my W5 today 👍buzzing

Amazing!! It's definitely the one we fear and a great feeling when we complete it! You deserve to feel super proud.
Go steady on the next two runs as, after the euphoria of W5R3, going back to intervals seems to catch a lot of people out! I was warned about taking the next two slow and steady and it definitely helped.
Enjoy your Sunday running buzz!!

Magpies!!! 🙈 I’m the same... blind panic if I see a single one! Frantically scour the area in search of a second! 🤣

You should be a big bit proud lol well done 😊
