Going out for my first run of week 3 today and feel a little anxious, not sure I can run for 3 minutes..... although saying this, I didn’t think I’d be able to manage week 2 but I did it!!! 🥳
Does anyone have any tips or specific stretches for tight ankles and calves? I stretch before and after runs but am still struggling. Many thanks 🙏🏻

Welcome to the forums and great job getting started. Your body is ready for week 3... feeling a little anxious is ok, so long as you don’t start to fear the next run... try to relax before you go out... tell yourself you can do it... run nice and slowly so that you can talk in full sentences and just keep going... you can do it.
Have a read of the guide to the plan which covers pacing, stretches (including which to do before and after a run) and many other things that will help you through this. healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
I'm in week 3 and felt exactly the same way. Take your first run really easily and slowly and you will be able to do no problem. It's actually the shortest session in the programme, and tbh the 3 minutes fly by!
