Starting week 3 on Sunday!

I finished the Week 2 run 3 today and am starting the first run of Week 3 on Sunday (rest day tomorrow, swimming on Saturday, then run on Sunday morning). Nervous about doubling that running time (from 90 secs to 3 mins). How did others find it? Looking for someone to tell me it was fine! 😂

You know what? It was fine :) Sarah lets you know when you are half way through the 3 minutes and sneaking gives you some more advice which takes about 30s so by the time she is finished you only have 60s left to go.

And like everyone says, take it slow and steady and try to take deep breaths if you can.

I haven't been using the app, just my own playlists but perhaps I will swap for next week. Thank you!

No nerves needed.. every rub prepares you for he next one.. take it slow and steady, trust the programme, believe in yourself and KNOW you will do this:)

IT WAS FINE! I shouted because it really was.... just take your time and don't stress. It's easier to say I know than to do. But honestly every run you've done has been building you up to do it.. and this mantra remains true for the rest of the programme.

Also seriously - if it doesn't work you can do it again, that counts as a practice run.

Please believe in your ability to do it. That is the key to developing your running legs.

I believe you will do it.... and happy running when you do

Thank you. One of my favourite things to do on here is to look at old posts from people who have similar worries to mine. One thing they all seem to have in common... they now have the graduate badges

I too have been worried about the increases 90 sec to 3 mins, then 3 mins to 5 ! But it’s been ok, I’ve done it and so will you! The program is such that it builds you up to be able to take the increases, but if you really really struggle then have another go at the last session and then move on.

Not what you're looking for?
