So tired and tried to speed up with Laura and Stepping Stones but didn’t like the music or the beat so changed back to my music and just Strava. I had to stop at 30 mins as I just couldn’t go any further but I had increased my speed. I think I might be best going for distance before increasing speed as this is the first time in a long while that I had to stop. Still I’ve jogged for 30 mins which is better than if I hadn’t forced myself out of bed 👍🌻

Sounds like a tough day. I’m on wk 8 & was wondering what to do when I graduate. I won’t be quite at 5k in 30 mins so need to speed up too. Stick with it & get some tunes you enjoy.
Wk 7 music was pretty depressing too. Wk 8 and I’m in an elevator,,,,,,
Yes I find I need the right music to increase my energy. The minute it starts it puts me in the right frame of mind. There is lots of advice on here for what to after graduation do it’s more about picking which suits you I think. I think I’ll continue with my consolidation runs for another couple of weeks then consider following the programme for 5-10k but the one especially for slower runners
Please don't try to run faster on every run...........it really is the sign of a rookie runner.
