I seriously feel the heat when running so I love it keeping me cool. My partner hates it but 😂😂😂

I was caught in the rain last week for the first time and found it quite cooling and refreshing 😁

Another fan of running in the rain! It keeps me cool. It’s the wind I don’t like 💨

This was me this morning. I thought "Oh, it's a bit drizzly, do I go now or wait for later?" I faffed about for a bit but knew if I didn't head out then I probably wouldn't go at all. I must have looked a sight with my cap on (As I like to keep the hair off my face and the rain off my glasses) and a raincoat, but I went out anyway. It drizzled most of the way but held off until I had finished and wasn't too bad. But I did get absolutely drenched whilst walking back home, which wasn't so good. However, although wet and a bit uncomfortable, the feeling of getting another run done made up for it. Also it got me to thinking what people do in the winter in the icy weather?

I love it it's cool and refreshing much better than trying to run in sticky heat for me. I just put on a cap and lightweight raincoat and go for it 😀

This time of year I love it... not so much in February! It’s very refreshing, cooling and also makes me take care on downhills and corners more. I don’t like it raining hard in my warmup, so if it’s chucking it down I warm up indoors... once I’m running though I really don’t care what it does... though I’m not over keen on hail 🤣

It was quite refreshing out there! I sucked it up and went for a run in the rain, although it was just a bit of drizzle here. It was just fine. I Iove walking in the rain anyway so I guess running can’t be too bad either 😊managed to run 2.5 miles, so all was good 💪🏻

Nice job. I started this journey in the heat of the summer before last... I was praying to any deity that I thought might listen for a nice shower... even considered singing 🤣

Now you’ve done it... another milestone there... no need to avoid the wet now.

Sure thing. Rain is surely nothing to worry about compared to when those winter temperatures start surfacing 😂🙈

Winter is interesting... if we can avoid the heavy rain and have no ice it’s actually really pleasant out there... and nothing beats grabbing a post run coffee and getting strange looks as you stand in line dressed like it’s spring, with a shimmer of sweat on your brow!

I funked my morning run a few days ago and went in the evening instead, but decided I'd have to bite the bullet some time soon, and how to cope without getting soggy all over. That time came this morning. Mercifully it was not raining to heavily, so I could see through my glasses. I dispensed with my shorts, and wore lightweight swimming briefs which are very quick to dry, a T shirt for warmth and a light waterproof jacket. When the weather gets warmer, I might try just wearing the swimwear, as I rarely see anyone else on my morning run. No point wearing clothes that just get wet!
