Should I redo week 3?

I recently had a few issues with my knee during week 3, so week 3 wasn’t very consistent for me. It took me about a week and a half to complete. I then finally got to week 4, where I suffered from horrendous blisters from my new running shoes...I only managed to complete half of week 4 day one as they were so bad I couldn’t even walk!

I’m going to start again tomorrow but I’m not sure whether I should completely redo week 3 or whether I should just start week 4 again?

I would really appreciate some advice, thank you😊

While you haven’t had a break of more than two weeks, so you won’t have lost any fitness, in your position right now I’d probably do what you’re suggesting. You’ll probably find it easier than first time round, but that’s no problem! This is your journey... repeats are ok, just don’t do them out of fear and build a mental wall to break through. Have a good run.

Thank you for the advice! My last run was 5 days ago so perhaps I could do a week 3 run tomorrow and then I’ll move on to week 4 from there? I’ll see how I get on! If I feel I need to completely do week 3 then I will😊

Yeah, see how it feels out there... you’ll know where you’re at by the finish line, or a little while after.

Start at the last session where you didn't sustain a running motion for all of all the running segments and/or a walking motion for all of all the walking segments - whether that's W4R2, W3R3 or whatever.

But I imagine your feet may not be fully healed yet so pick your moment, your shoes, and your plasters well!

Hello. Do what you’re comfortable doing. If you feel you need to repeat and it would help you, then repeat. There are no prizes for finishing the program in 9 weeks. You can do it in as many as you like. If it takes 12 week, fine. Look up my recent post called “never give up”. Hopefully that will give you some good advice and inspiration. Good luck.

Try one run from week 3 and see how it feels. You don't want to hit a mental barrier, but you also don't want to get a physical injury.

I repeated weeks 1-3 quite a few times because of inconsistency and issues with my knees.

I finished week 7 and feeling better. My knee still hurts, but not as bad.

It's important to make progress, while listening to our body.

Good luck!

I’d perhaps go back to W3R3 for the next one but more importantly get yourself some good quality anti blister running socks. Mine are from Decathlon and are superb and the Mrs has the more expensive Hillys by Ron Hill which she says are great. Your feet will thank you for it. Good luck and keep going 👍🏽

So I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ve just got the worst luck ever!!🤣 I was about halfway through my first 5 mins run and the app stopped working!! I honestly cannot believe my terrible luck!😂I tried everything and I couldn’t get it to work, So just winged it and did my own thing!

Anyone else had issues with the app not working ?!
