Week 1 Run 1

So, today was W1R1. It was a killer but I did it. Such a long way to go - and I CAN NOT imagine running for 30 minutes solid - but I'm just gonna take it one run at a time :-)

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

You don't need to think about 30 mins, just concentrate on the next run.......you will get there.

Enjoy your journey.

Well done Jude! You've made an important first step and good luck for the upcoming weeks.

Do take time to read Truffe's guide, theres a lot of information there and I didn't realise how much there is to running safely and building up slowly. Took me a few days to read through and digest.

Im on week 3 so fairly new too.

You can do it! 😊 👍

Well done - it's starting that counts - and remember you can take it at your own pace and only move on when you feel ready to. I bet you surprise yourself

A bit excited to be honest. I know it will be really hard but just looking forward to getting in with it.

There's a Facebook group for the C25K app which I have joined too - a bit easier than using this forum I think.

Good luck tomorrow x
