Managed to do all the walks and runs with no stopping. So really proud of myself but my ankles and shins are still letting me down, they feel like they’re on fire.
I’m also still finding it hard to motivate myself to go and do it. It still seems a chore for me to get myself out there every time.
Many thanks to everyone for their continued support.

Well done. Have you got proper running shoes? My shins were a nightmare in W1 and I thought I’d never be able to continue but after getting new shoes, I’ve had no pain at all. Good luck and keep going.
Keep on going! You're doing great! When I started I had so many negative thoughts in my head about running. I'd already had myself down as a failure before I'd even go out for the first run of Week 1. I'm now about to do the last run of Week 4.
My first run of Week 1 was good but my shins and ankle did hurt! Then I got myself some better trainers and that really helped. I used to dread going out and worrying what other people would think of me when they saw me trying to 'run'. The only people I told that I was doing this was the people here on the forum.
Now, I tell everyone! Just remember to keep telling yourself on the 5 minute cool down walk that 'you did it!' 🏃🏻♂️
Top effort 👏👏, W1 is definitely the hardest as for most of us you’re starting from zero but there’s no harm in repeating things and I’ve no doubt that proper running shoes will do the trick! Keep on in there!
