W7R1 Completed

I've been reading a lot of the posts here and they are very motivating so thought I'd write a post of my own.

From someone who could barely run for a minute without being out of breath to being able to run for 25 mins is crazy. This training plan is very good. I've been using the podcasts and find the music pretty good to run to.

For anyone that's starting out keep at it and follow the plan. It definitely works.

I'm currently not focusing on speed but I'm sure that'll come with time.

Thank you to everyone here that posts. I did my W6R3 last Thursday and saw someone else complete it just before I was going to set off so that motivated me even more.

W7R1 I did this morning and it felt good.

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

Well done you. I’m doing mine on a treadmill with all the windows open. I’ve just completed 7.1 and am currently on my cool down walk. I’m shattered but so thrilled to have done it. Like you I can’t believe that I can now run, slowly, but still running for 25 mins. Well done to everyone doing C25K.

Well done, it's great, isn't it? I am using the original podcasts and find the music is set at a good pace. I'm now on week 7 but the other day I went for a brisk walk with Laura on week 2 just to have the music to set a good pace and no slacking :)

Hey well done. I am at exactly the same stage as you about to do W7R1. It is definitely getting harder but so worth the feeling of achievement. Well done and you are almost there :)))

Well done! 😀 I did the same run yesterday and really enjoyed it. 😊 Absolutely love this programme too and yes, it wouldn’t be half as good without the forum! 😀🏃‍♀️🐢
