After the joy of running 20 minutes at the end of week 5, I've found the first two runs of week 6 frustrating, having to run for shorter intervals with walks.
So I went out looking forward to today's challenge. It was around 12.45 so fairly hot. Having read many posts by others passing through this stage, I was confident that I could do it provided I kept my pace slow and steady.
Into the last 5 minutes I thought about keeping going if I still felt good but when Sarah said one minute to go and speed up if you can I took that option and finished off with probably the fastest I've run in the whole C25K.
So, I'm feeling pretty good although I notice 'something' in my left quad which a bit of stretching should hopefully sort out. Rest day tomorrow then on to week 7!
I've attached a photo of the field I run around. The perimeter is about 880 metres.
