Week 7 Run 3 - feeling good!

I can't believe I am saying this but I actually enjoyed that! I love running through these woods 😀

I seem to be setting into a nice rhythm much more quickly now and can find a bit extra for the last 2 or 3 minutes. And my cadence has increased bit but again.

I'm still slow, covering just over 4k including the warm up and warm down walks but I'm not even thinking about that yet. It's an achievement to be running non-stop for 25 minutes.

Dare I say it but I feel like the end is in sight now...

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 7, that is a lovely photo of your running route, part of my running route is also through a woodland area, occasionally I see a roe deer, onwards and upwards to week 8, not long now until you graduate.

Thanks!

Yes I feel so lucky to have this literally on my doorstep, especially in current circumstances.

The bluebells were amazing this year. I've only ever seen Muntjac deer, but we do have badgers.

Am looking forward to week 8!

Well done! I was meant to do that run this morning but I am afraid I did not make it as I went out walking with a friend yesterday and did around 8 miles. Good Luck with Week 8!

Am sure you will smash it when you have recovered from your 8 mile trek

Well done, your run route looks beautiful. I am at the same point as you and I’m really enjoying the sense of achievement after each run. I don’t get to 5K within the session either (walks included) but I’m more than happy to just be running for time I am. I’m just over 4.5K with the walks included. Never thought I’d be able to run for the length of time I’ve gotten to - keep going I’m starting W8R1 today 😀👍
