I'm at that part of the program again, week 9 run 3!
I was up super early yesterday but today I didn't wake up until 5:50, I lay there watching the clock until 6 and got up.
I sat having a cup of green tea while reading an update on Garmin's troubles, they've been hit by ransomware if you didn't already know, and it's taken them down with just about all parts of their business impacted.
I was hoping to get my 2nd set of speed and cadence sensors for my gravel bike this week, I don't think that is going to happen.
I've seen plenty of companies in their situation unfortunately.
I threw on the running gear and jumped on the treadmill.
5 minute warm up walk done and onto a nice slow jog, breathing deep and controlled.
Laura's then telling me 5 minutes had gone by, I'm loving the run, the feeling of freedom as I plod along on the treadmill, no phone, no laptop, no worries.
I know that sounds totally silly as I'm essentially running on the spot with my phone sat in front of me playing music but, as runners I'm sure you'll all understand.
Then I'm half way though, then I have 5 minutes left and then it's 60 seconds.
I did jog about half of the warm down walk but I did extend it to ensure I had 5 minutes.
Now starts the consolidation runs before I start to try to get back to where I was at the beginning of the year.
