After dragging myself out of bed I got to the park at 7am ready for the final run in week 7. It's taken me longer than I had planned to finish this week due to tiredness and giving into gremlins πΉ So I made sure I was feeling happy and ready to go.
I usually struggle the first half but found today's run better in terms of pace, breathing and my own head space. My fitness has improved so much, I'm totally amazed.
So when I got to 20 minutes I decided to keep running past 25minutes, if I could...26 minutes in and a large black dog came running after me, running round my ankles and I ended up stopping. Felt a bit annoyed about that but then remembered id just finished week 7! Joy πππ so I did 4.2K today in 26 minutes. Not bad for someone who could let run to catch the bus a few weeks ago!!
I'm doing my first 5k run on Sunday, it'll be my 2nd run in week 8 so should almost run the whole way. Wow πππ
