Just back from an awesome run, my favourite one to date! I was smiling for so much of it π
I had been really worried about it. I'm a teacher and although I've still been working throughout school closure, including going into school on occasions, yesterday I went back into school full time and today was the first day with the children back. So that's put paid to my early morning runs as my running partner daughter would never get up in time for me to go before work! I really wasn't sure if I'd be ok running later after a very tiring day. However, it was a great run, it felt wonderful to put on my music and just run, obliterating the stresses of the day π I got into the zone, my pace felt right and all was well in my world.
Week 7 done, still genuinely cannot believe I am doing this, it feels amazing!

Fantastic! So glad you had a great run. Maybe the change in routine helped? I sometimes find that varying my run - route, what I listen to, time of day etc - can help me enjoy it more
Good point, I always thought I was a morning runner (I'm a morning person in general) but I think you're right, trying out different times shouldn't scare me π
There was a slight breeze that helped. I kept thinking of you saying you'd run late and had a great run so I was hoping it would work like that for me too and it did! Good luck, not that you need it!
