Starting week 4, any tips!?😄

I remember the Week 4 dread - to me, that was when it was gonna get really hard. I was convinced I wouldn’t make it. I did it (it wasn’t pretty - it never is) and I’m sure you will too - have faith, this thing works!! You’ve read it all before, hydrate, go slow and you’ll be fine. I’m now on Week 7; 5 minutes is when I tell myself “okay, only four more of those to go” 😄
I thought I’d never manage week 3 but so far I’ve found it more enjoyable than weeks 1 and 2! I don’t think however that will be the case with week 4!😂
I think the thing I’m dreading the most is going from doing a 3 minute run to a 5 minute run with only 90 seconds of walking!
It’s just stopped being enjoyable for me - I think it’s because it’s steady jogging from now. I’ve ordered myself new trainers for motivation 😁
In terms of pace, the first time I went out, we were on a family walk and my five year old kept trying to jog with me, so I had to go at his pace. I imagine he’s there whenever I think I might be going to fast.
You’ll be fine, enjoy the elation you feel when you get to the end and you’ve done it, and use that to keep you going 🙂

Slow down. It's not cheating, it's not giving in, it's not a defeat.
Every runner, including the competitive and professional runners, slows their pace whenever they tackle a new longer time or a new longer distance. You should too.
Enjoy yourself with Week 4

Definitely keep it slow, deep breaths, good music and most of all be positive. When you leave the house, leave with a positive mental attitude and don’t let any anxiety or negativity get in your way. It’s all about believing in yourself. It’s a proven programme so just go with it. Good luck! 💪🏼👍🏼

Relax and enjoy it.

You may be looking forward to the 5 minute jogs but you can be sure of one thing: your body is ready for them despite what your head is telling you.
Week 1 was gentle enough for almost anyone on the couch to achieve. You did Week 2 as a result of the fitness gained in Week 1. Week 3 was doable because of the fitness built up in Weeks 1 AND 2. So.... Yyour body is now prepared for Week 4.
Trust the program.
DO IT
