Just completed W3R3.
Week four seems a bit of a step up to me. Any tips for week four would be very welcome.
Thanks.

Take it slow and then slower. Run so slowly it feels like walking but even slower. If you're aware of your breathing slow down even more.
This is now a mind game. Split the 5 minutes into bits: the next gate/lamppost. Something you can see and aim at.
All the runs are identical this week so when you've completed the first one you're done. Nothing else to prove.
Dig in. You absolutely are going to do this. Prepare to astonish yourself. And to be a bit hot and sweaty 😂
Let us know how you get on!!
I completed W4R2 yesterday much to my disbelief! Try not to clock watch. I found myself doing this during the last five minute run and it felt like it made it last an eternity (it could be the fact I was going uphill though!). My main advice is to go slow and a pace you’re comfortable at. I started a bit fast and knew I couldn’t sustain it just yet. Hope this helps!
I ran w4r1 yesterday, and I couldn’t agree more with the others, a slow steady pace is essential. I found the first three minutes quit easy at that pace, but I’m glad I went slowly because i found it saved me energy for the 5 minute run. It wasn’t easy, but believe me you have built up the stamina and strength to complete it. The second three minutes was also fairly easy after the long 2.5 min. Walk but I still kept a slow pace. The final 5, well you can imagine. But I just told my self I’ve done it once so I can do it again, and you will. Legs are a bit tired but it’s worth it. Good luck, you can definitely do it.
I find that taking big breaths on the warm up walk seems to help me. Apart from that Slow Slow Slow......😊
thanks for all the tips, much appreciated. Plan to do it on Friday - I'll keep you posted.
