Starting Week 4

I'm starting week 4 tomorrow. I've had a look at the plan and it looks like a big jump. I'm very nervous about it, especially as everyone is isolating so I'm not walking as much as I would do in my day to day

There are a lot of tips in the guide about the increase of time

Take it slow and you will be fine

Good luck and let us know how you get on

Week 4 is just another week in a brilliantly structured training plan, which it is impossible to fail, unless you give up and head back to the couch permanently.

This post may help you to put it all in perspective healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

You can do this.

Just try to relax...slow and steady is the mantra..let the legs take you along gently!

Each run..each week...you get stronger...trust the plan...believe in yourself.

Well done!

It does look like a big jump, but week 1 to week 3 have been the perfect preparation. You will be fine!

You will be fine. I start week four today too if you just take it at your pace going slow and steady and you will do just fine done worry. I’m about to get ready and attempt it now

I start week 4 tomorrow and was thinking the exact same! Going to just try and take it slow and steady and trust in the plan :-)

I finished week 4 last week and enjoyed all the runs. In fact it was w3r3 I struggled with. For me week 4 runs were really enjoyable. Definitely take it slow and you can do this x

Yep, looks that way to me too (I’m on week 2). You could, perhaps redo week 3 first, or use a slightly longer warm up, or just go for it! - you’ve done the first three weeks, which most people thought they wouldn’t be able to do - am sure that you’ll cope with this one too!

I managed to do it today, it was hard work but I did it! Thank you all for all your supportive comments, it's really helped :)

You will be fine, the programme is designed to ensure that by the end you can run 5k/30mins - make sure you do your stretches to warm up properly and enjoy it - if you are doing it outside even better!! Good luck!
