Am totally buzzing, first evening run and was thinking it would be a nightmare as was afraid I would struggle with 3x5 mins but I loved it and just the thing after a long day with the kids! Knees gradually feeling better after the strengthening exercises and today I really felt I'd achieved something. Onwards and upwards! 😊

I’ve just done exactly the same as you- Wk5r1 and did my first evening run since starting this.

I enjoyed it too but was flagging by the end of the 3rd run

But I did it- as did you- we should be so proud of how far we have come.

How are you feeling about the 2x8mims on the next run?

We should totally be proud of ourselves, I'll be honest I'm quite nervous about the 8 minutes but I'm gonna tell myself if I can do 3x5 then I can do 2x8. It's all worked so far and so I feel I have to keep trusting the programme and myself! 😊

I did Week 5 Run 1 this morning and I was pleasantly surprised, too! Until now I’ve found everything extraordinarily difficult. Today was the first day I enjoyed it and didn’t feel like I was going to die. I really did struggle to run the 60 seconds in week one and it’s a real boost to realise that my fitness really is improving and that this thing might actually be possible.

The 20 minute run at the end of this week looks like an insane challenge - but I’m trying to trust the process - it must be there for a reason and it must be possible!!

Well done all!

Same here! 1st time I wasnt out of puff and was almost looking forward to the final 5 mins :) I also feel it might just be possible 😊 I'm going to try not to think too hard about r3 as to be honest I just cant imagine going from 5 to 8 then 20 minutes but I guess if it all goes horribly wrong I can remember today and try again. I was so down last week with sore knees so to be this up today gives me confidence for the next bit!

Well done! I did W5 R2 this morning, be positive, it really isn’t that bad, anxious for R3 on Wednesday but I think I’ll do it!! 🤞🏼🙏

Well done, it’s a great feeling isn’t it?! I have W5R3 on Wednesday and although I’m a little apprehensive, I know how good it’ll feel afterwards! 😊

Oh good luck! I hope the fears go and you love it. The buzz at the end is so addictive though isn't it 😊
