Week 5, Run 1

Ummm what just happened?

Did I actually go out and run for 15 minutes in total?

It’s been a month since I started this process.

On the 11th June if you told me I would be doing this now then I would have thought you were crazy and then sent you on your way

I found today’s run difficult but I powered through and felt amazing after

But what I’m finding even stranger is that I’m actually looking forward to Run 3 of this week.

I’ve got a family event this weekend and when I started the programme they told me I would never make it past the first week

I’m so happy that the morning before I’ll be running for 20 minutes

I’m still feeling high from my run and am genuinely looking forward to my next one.

I finally now understand what all you were on about when you said this is addictive!

Huge well done... take it steady and slow, and enjoy each and every run...just like you are doing!

Well done.

That day you started was my birthday. My gift to you is having a fantastic run this weekend before your family event and an afterglow that makes you rightly proud of yourself. Enjoy it.

Totally feeling what you said. Running seems to become part of your life very quickly. I'm only one run ahead and felt awesome most of today after my run this morning!
