Week 5 run 1

Some days you have good runs and some days you have bad ones.

I think my last two were rather unpleasant and so I went out with a mild feeling of apprehension and low expectations for how I would feel during the run. (I pretty much always feel better when it’s finished just because I did it even if it was awful.)

The last run every time Jo said just one minute to go or 60 seconds left it felt like the longest 60 seconds ever. Like when you are a kid waiting for something good to happen and every second is like a minute.

Well that didn’t happen. It was a really good run! I think it being so cool at 6 am really helped. A very enjoyable experience I hope it’s cool for run 3 😉

That's the great thing about this - therecwill be some stinkers but they are followed by some great runs! Enjoy run 3 when it comes!

I did W5R1 this morning too, glad I went out before the wind picked up! I’m excited to see how I handle W5R2 on Monday, what a bank holiday treat! 😆
