My right foot hurts in the soul and on the right near my ankle! I can walk but should I run?

Foot injury?
I’m gonna say no. If you have injured something then running on it is almost certain to make it worse... and that means longer not running.
I’m assuming it’s a new pain... RICE and see how it goes, if it persists then get a medical opinion, preferably from a physio who will then give you exercises to strengthen and also to aid recovery.
Here’s hoping it’s something and nothing, but I’d be erring on the side of caution.
I've had this, I cant remember what it's called but sounds like an inflamed tendon, mine went very red the next day, but 3 or 4 days rest and you'll be good as new hopefully
I had something similar with pain in the outer arch and up into my ankle. I struggled to even walk and ended up taking 10 days off between weeks 3 and 4. Frustrating but 100% the right decision as I'm now in week 6 with no pain. I'm not a doctor but the main things I did were icing, massaging and stretching. I also replaced the insole in my trainer which had high inner arch support to a standard sport insole as that high inner support was pushing pressure onto the outside of my foot/ankle. Again just things that I tried which worked for me.
I've had a similar issue - started with pain in my arches from the first run and by the time I got to week 4 run 3 I developed a new pain in my ankles. I thought it's strange as it didn't hurt during the run but afterwards, so I decided to take a few days rest. I would like to think it's because I haven't been exercising that much during lockdown and after sitting at my desk all day perhaps I was being a bit overzealous about running. Hopefully I'll be good to go again next week.
