8 weeks ago I started eating healthier, doing bits of yoga, and most importantly, I started the couch to 5K program.
It’s been a journey of skepticism and doubt, but equally of joy and pride. Before this I could count my total runs on two hands. I would barely reach a mile before getting stitch and so out of breath I had to stop and walk home. Week 5 was particularly hard, and the thought of running for 20 minutes seemed like an impossible feat. 27 runs down, and a stone lighter, I am able to run for 30 minutes straight- and to top it off, I finished today with a 60 second sprint.
I’m so happy I started this program and read the posts from this community that have inspired me to keep going.
C25K has just finished but this is only the beginning of a healthier and happier life
