Wow - what a great feeling - finished week 9 run 3 this evening! That's 9 weeks and 4 days, 27 runs, 1 practice run, an update to the app, a holiday and a heatwave, since I started.
This is a great program - for anyone thinking of starting or still in the early weeks, I'd say "go for it". Be prepared to be pushed outside your comfort zone physically and mentally, but only enough to help you progress.
And to everyone on this forum - thank you so much, you have really helped me to keep going!
Off to get my graduate badge now - hope there's some left!

PS and for the record, I can currently "run" just under 4km in 30 mins, and over the 9 weeks I have lost precisely 0lb! (Probably something to do with celebrating each new milestone with a glass of wine....)
I'd like to try our Park Run but we are away this weekend so it will have to wait a bit. I keep checking my times against the weekly results. i shouldn't be last, but there will be several hundred people ahead of me! i cannot imagine being in a bunch of 450 runners! Badge or no badge, I will still feel a fraud I'm sure. Hope you really enjoy yours.
Yahoo! Well done to you. We both were on the finish line this evening. Fantastic achievement. Enjoy your Parkrun on Saturday. I'm going to travel to a new one in Dublin on Saturday and run it with my 2 sisters. Parkruns are amazing.
