Can’t quite believe I did it! I struggled to run for the first 60 second run on wk1 and I’m amazed how far I’ve come! Always wanted to run but never really been able to and have a super fit sibling that runs 10k without a sweat that I’ve always been envious of, during this lockdown I realised I hadn’t really done anything noteworthy apart from the decorating and gardening so wanted to achieve something- and I am!! Can I now call myself a runner? 😂
Woohoo!! Wk6 r3: Can’t quite believe I did it! I... - Couch to 5K
Woohoo!! Wk6 r3
after the first 20 min run on wk5 I was elated but struggled on the first run of wk6 - just couldn’t do it and got a bit disheartened, took a few days off, then had another bash - suddenly found my rhythm - no other setbacks thankfully and I think I’m loving it!
Yes Mrs Pickles, you CAN call yourself a runner, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, onwards and upwards to week 7 which all 3 runs are 25 minutes with no walking breaks
I’m actually looking forward to wk7 albeit a little terrified! I’ve certainly got the running bug now and have even convinced my 9 yr old to start it too!
You don't need to be terrified about any runs of C25K, apart from run 3 of week 5, even with that run, there is nothing to be terrified of, all the runs have been thoroughly prepared for you, so look forward and enjoy the remaining runs that you have to run, not long now until you graduate.
It’s more a case of now the longer runs are x 3 rather than a build up to one big run, but I can do this - I already have! Onwards and upwards - my goal is to do a park run comfortably when they restart - at least I have lots of time to practice 😁
