I did it! I can't believe it!! Like everybody else who has done this run, I didn't think I would be able to do it but it wasn't too had actually once I managed to let my mind wander.

How has everybody else's run been today? :)

Way to go!!! I completed W5R3 this evening too. I'm mid 50s and this is the first time in my life that I've run for 20 minutes without stopping. I don't think it's quite sunk in yet that I've actually done this!

Well done! It's such a great achievement & we really should be extremely proud of ourselves. Just a few weeks left until we're running for 30 minutes :)

This is so great to hear! I'm doing run 3 on Friday and am really doubtful that I can do itI managed the two 8 min runs today 'fairly' easily so we'll see. Although I had to stop and do the idiot jog at a crossing waiting for a break in the traffic. For the 20 min stretch I need to plan my route to avoid big roads!

You can do it! My wk 5 run 2 was awful (it was very sunny & I didn't have a bobble to tie my hair up so I was boiling). If you just take a nice steady pace & distract yourself it will fly by! Good luck & let us know how it goes :)

Well done everyone it certainly is a big breakthrough. I am on w7 now - 25 mins non stop. Laura suggested at the begiining to change route to make it more inetersting, which I did but this resulted in me doing the hillier bit at the end. Reversed it today and much better. Go us!!!

Well done! I'm planning all my routes making sure that I don't have to go up any hills- I'll tackle that when I've completed the programme! ;)

Mmmm, probably a good idea but, I live in a place called Knock, the Gaelic version of which means hill, so no way of avoiding them. :-)
