Week 6 Run 2

First run I have truly enjoyed! The first 10 minutes felt really good, steady and kept to an even pace I think. When the second run section arrived, I didn't enjoy it as much, but got through it at a slower pace. I've also noticed I'm not getting as stiff or sore afterwards or on rest days as before - something to be very happy about!

Another warm one today, glad to have got out before it really gets hot! 🥵

Good luck anyone running today :D

Well done 😀

Why do you think you didn’t enjoy the 2nd run section compared to the 1st?

Hello! Thanks :)

I just felt that I wasn't doing as well and it put me down a bit I guess? Feel good overall about the run though:)

I wonder if you felt that way as you slowed your pace. You did it though and that’s a huge achievement! 😀

I did mine this morning too and feel the same. Although when I get overtaken by another runner, I seem to speed up! Must be careful to keep my pace. That was the last run with an interval, they are all solid runs now but bring it on!!

Haha, for me...it's when someone in front of me is walking along and I don't want them to feel like they need to move or speed up, so I speed up and then the path narrows to literally fences on both sides and I feel that need to get in front of them and I go "coming up on your right!" and then they turn to look... to the right....*breathes* D: haha!
