Never been a runner, never enjoyed the thought and always used my dodgy right knee (torn meniscus) as a reason for never heading out and pounding the pavement. Now I know that (in my case) it was just an excuse! C25K is beyond amazing. The gently gently programme is so well crafted that even I have been able to go from 30 secs to 30 mins, and today had the best run ever woohooo! Two more runs: Bring. Them. On.

It is sorcery, you're right. I just finished week 9 run 1 as well - sounds as though we must have been running at almost the same time. It was hot! I hadn't thought about it as going from 30 seconds to 30 minutes - but you're right - and that makes it even more magic. Only two to go now!
Absolutely!! I should have finished last week but was under the weather (Not covid) so took longer breaks between runs so now looking to finish runs 2 and 3 by next week. Keep the magic going, we got this!!
Yay! Me too! I did my first run of week 9 today and loved it! I wore a supportive sleeve on my right knee as it had been hurting in the cooldown walk (but oddly, not during the run). It made such a difference. I felt springy! And I second that about the programme. It's really well structured.
Woohoo that's amazing Diamondshoes, wasn't it GREAT?!
This sleeve, is it one of those neoprene open knee numbers or...? Not tried one before but happy to give my knee some extra TLC, lord knows she deserves it!
