Not so elated though considering the achievement today was the toughest run of the so far (I've been waiting to hit this wall!)
I went out sunday and was supposed to do the 30 mins but stopped after 24 i don't know what happened but my legs just would not go any further but I tried to remain positive (24 minuets is good going) but today the wind was against me all the way and there were these little thoughts in my head that kept trying to make me stop
I ignored them and looking back over the weeks I've felt a little of this type of feeling but its never been as bad as today - I don't seen to feel the sense of achievement today like I have on past runs and just didn't enjoy it and i couldn't wait for it to be over!
So I hope my next run is a better 1 maybe when the warmer weather comes in and it's not so hard to run against ice cold winds lol. I did feel my heart rate up though and was panting hard at the end so I must of been working harder today !!!!!!

Well done, really you have done it now! I think that we expect such a big feeling of achievement sometimes the reality can be a let down, but you should be proud of yourself. You ran for 30 minutes today! As I'm sure you're aware some runs will be better than others, and hopefully the weather will cheer up soon too!
Hey, we're at the same bit. Did you think you would be here a couple of months ago? I think it's great what we've done. We might not enjoy it but we're doing it. When's your next runZ.
Aww thank you for supportive comments everyone iv woken up much more positive this morning! I was feeling even worse yesterday as I'd gone to slimming world and put 2lb on when I really don't no what iv done wrong ( I have slogged it out on the cross trainer when I couldn't make it for a run) so I'm gonna give this SW another month before I give weight watchers a whirl instead. Any ideas any one on good diet/healthy eating plans?
The sense of pride has arrived this morning especially after reading these comments! and you right in dec I was putting off starting c25k because it was too cold outside and now Im running in the snow ......... That's an achievement in itself so 30 mins of non stop albeit slow running makes me very proud
Rainbowc - sorry to hear your not feeling well hope your better soon
Sadiekit - it's nice to hear someone else is at the same stage, I'm gonna go out again tomorrow morning the hubby us on lates this week so I can go out first thing (child care issue) this is much better for me cos if I leave it til later I have all day to talk myself out of it lol! How have your runs been? Have you noticed being any more tiered on rest days? Think the longer runs take quite a bit out of me an I'm a little exhausted afterwards (although it probably combination along with working shifts an arranging childcare, oh an life in general). When is your next run sadiekit il keep an eye out for your blog see how you get on! Good luck
