Hi everyone,

Brand new to this forum! Just completed W4R1; it felt like ramping up to 5 minutes was going to be insurmountable-but I did it!! And, the crazy thing is that it felt good, hard, but good!

I am about 50 lbs overweight and this pandemic made me realize the value of good health- so here I am- I hope I can keep this up when I return to the craziness of working! I am working full time right now but with the flexibility of working from home- not sure I will motivate myself to keep it up once that flexibility is gone.

I don't 'do' forums; but have found the posts to be inspirational so I thought I would give it a shot :)

This is a special place........

Enjoy your journey.

Welcome.

Just finished wk4 r1 today. Also found it a push. But really feeling the benefits. Didn't feel like it today. Feel like cabin fever is kicking in so forced myself out and felt better for it. Albeit knackered haha

Also the though of full time inflexible time is a problem but I'm going to get up early and start my day with runs, the mental clarity has been a game changer for me.

Seems such a positive forum doesn't it

Hi Spartacus22! I hope your week 4 went well and that you have moved on to week 5 with success. The positive messages really help keep me going. I am amazed at the positive mental clarity I feel on my run days- it is what I keep telling myself on the mornings when I would rather just pull the covers over my head!

Keep up the good work.

I’m due to start week 4 next week, so thanks for the motivation!
