So it was slower than my usual pace but my legs were a tad tender and I didn't want to over do it and cause an injury, I just wanted to get the job done and here I am 😀
Smaller steps in my jog helped today but the biggest thing was how much I felt I still had in the tank at the end! This has given my confidence a boost as I go on to do run 2 and take on 2 x 8 minutes! Im also armed with a new found self belief that I can actually do this!!
If I can get to this point then you certainly can. I always thought my weak ankles were a sign I wasn't built for this but here I am... I've just done 3 x 5 minute jogs.
Wherever you are in the journey embrace and believe because you can do it!

You’ve inspired me to believe I can do this ! I keep reading posts about what’s coming in weeks 5 onwards and I’m apprehensive to say the least - I’m hoping to complete run 3 of week 3 today - so fingers crossed 🤞
Hey, glad to hear my post helped. I hope you got ok with W3R3. I actually think it was W3 going on to W4 and doing the 5 minute jogs that shifted my mindset the most. I entered W4 with very little confidence that I would manage the 5min. sections as I've never achieved that before!!! I won't lie it wasn't pretty, my face sweated buckets and there were swear words BUT I gritted my teeth and sheer determination got me through it. I really thought I'd be repeating sections of W4 but I remarkably I didn't need to! If I can do it anyone can.
Drinking lots of water before, doing stretches after and not going too fast really helped.
I've changed my route in W5 so it's a flatter one, and it doesn't involve meeting so much of the public so I'm not so anxious about how I look and stay focused on the job at hand.
You have totally got this but self belief to me is paramount.
