Week 6 Run 3 ✅

That was a bit breezy, today, but still dry! I kept a good, steady pace & felt like I could of pushed a bit at the end! A little confidence boost for Wednesday & Wk 7! Happy Monday, everyone!

Nice one 😁 I am a bit apprehensive about a headwind this evening, fingers crossed it’s behind us and blows us along 🤣

Thank you! Hopefully it won’t be too bad for you! Do you always run in the evening? I’m still furloughed so I’m managing to stick to a set ish! time! Subject to getting my daughter out of her pit! Good luck with your run! You’ll smash it! 💪

Yes, always in the evening (even at weekends). I’m working full time from home with two teenagers in the house, so lunch breaks just aren’t long enough. But I like finishing off the day with C25K and running off the stress 😁 also my son who runs with me is doing school work all day (GCSEs next year) so evening time is best for us 👍

I’ll have to change to evenings if/when I get back to work! A nice little 7 mile commute home to warm my legs up, first! My commute home was always a good way of getting rid of the stress of the working day! Can’t wait! 🚴‍♀️🏃‍♂️😧

Well done and good luck for next week. Looks from your route that you live near our son and his family, although they are on the coast.

in reply toMMP175

He’s lucky! I cycle along the coast quite a lot! My friend lives in Whitley Bay! It’s only just over half an hour on my bike! There are some great cycle paths & trails around there!

They are lucky, but say that the beach and promenades are too busy to take the children for a walk so they’ve been walking/cycling away from the front. It’ll probably get even busier after yesterday’s developments

Yes I’m sure it will! A lot of people will see it as a green light after the confusing Boris statement!

Well done! The weather has certainly been a bit wild today but, as long as it’s safe (lots of fallen branches where we are), then I actually quite like running when there’s some breeze, more so than when it’s calm, I get too hot and red faced, 🥵 not a good look! Looking forward to Wednesday and Week 7!

The wind wasn’t too bad up here! No fallen branches, anyway! Glad to hear you got your run done! 25 mins x 3, we’ve got this!
