Week 6 Run 3

Just completed the 25 min run in very windy conditions. I did not find it easy- much harder than week 5. It probably didn’t help that yesterday I went for a bike ride and today the last 2 mins was up a hill!! When Laura said I could go a bit faster in the last 60 seconds I actually laughed as I was literally giving it everything just to get up the hill!!! Feeling a bit down about it as until now it’s not been too bad. Anyone else like me or is everyone finding it easier now?

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER 🏃🏾,

Laura knew that you were enjoying that run so much, that is why she asked you to run faster going uphill for the last 60 seconds. 😊 😂🏃🏾

Keep going! Week 7 is 3 x 25 min runs! I know I feel more daunted by the run-only weeks ahead but I've just finished Week 7 and have managed all three 25 min runs. Laura will encourage you in Week 7 to up the pace for the last 60 seconds as well and I've been able to do that. The rest I try and do very very very slowly <Snail emoji> ...

Thank you!! I am going to change where I start slightly so I dont finish on an uphill- I am also off road on uneven tracks which probably makes it slightly harder maybe.

I did that run yesterday and am not particularly finding it getting easier. I can’t say I enjoy the run although I definitely got a buzz at the end. I’m hoping that running the same distance a few times in the next weeks will mean that by run 3 I might enjoy it. I’m just really chuffed I’m still doing it
