Feeling chuffed I’ve got this far. Found a nice 3 mile route to use ..... prob has more up hill than preferred but is good for building fitness I guess. So this means that Weds is the biggy..... 20 mins continuous running .... eeeeek. Gonna need some serious PMA 😬😬😬😫

Relax about it. If you have got this far you are doing great and will be ready for this. If you stress you will just make you breathing more shallow and muscles tense and this will not help you.

Great job... that bell in the last run was the half way point in the plan... and you get such a great reward, a wonderful 20 minute run! Your body is ready... the legs did more work in R2 than they will be asked to do in R3 as it’s a shorter workout... the heart and lungs will also be doing a little less, brisk walking breaks are also cardio. So... yeah, PMA is half of the answer... it’s a mental challenge, so much so that it’s only your mind that sees this as a step up. Believe in yourself, trust the plan, and then for the other half of the answer... self coaching. Set off a little slower than normal, relax and ease into your happy pace... then maybe a little bit of telling yourself that you got this to block out the voice in your head that says you can’t do it... a dash of “don’t stop now the hard work is done” towards the end and then... well, then let the emotions flow as you finish the run and realise that actually, you’re pretty awesome.

You can do it! Have fun.

Try not to overthink the run, approach it as you have the previous runs, remember, slow & steady is the way to get through, slow & slow again if nessacary.

Well done, you are doing well.. Keep it there!

I see your a tattoo artist, I may ask for your service to cover up a BCC scar on my shoulder when fully healed. 😁
