Week 4 R3 done (hurrah)

I’ve been reading these posts for some time but finally brave enough to write one. As a middle aged overweight woman who hasn’t run since about 1975, I can’t believe I have made it this far. Knee pain week 2, hip pain week 3 and legs like lead in week 4 but the community posts helped, pain passed and I’m plodding on. Sometimes I feel my brisk walks are faster than my jogging! Greatest advice was to look at the Japanese slow jog video.

Just a small question; I diligently set a reminder each time I finish a run for my next session but where do the reminders get sent to? I’ve never received one.

Thanks for all the advice and support.

Ooh, the dreaded week 5! Well done to you. I will be starting that on Monday. I guess we just have to have faith that we’ve kept up so far and ploughing on. Good luck and thank you for the encouragement 😊

Thank you! Could you clarify where the reminders get sent for my next run please? Should they come as an email?

Thank you!

Brilliant! Well done and look forward to more posts. I certainly can walk faster than run but that’s ok. 👍

Thanks for the reassurance. I’m aiming just to manage the 30 minutes. I can hopefully speed up a bit later down the track 😊

The reminders are sent as a notification to your phone. You will receive them if you have the notifications switched on. Hope this helps.
