I ran run 1 of week 4 very unsuccessfully, didn’t run for the full time, aches in hips & back of knee. did run 1 again yesterday & completed it but still back of knee pain. I’ve been doing a few strengthening exercises so hopefully get better

Congratulations! 👏 I havent started W4 yet as I decided to repeat W3 because I can’t manage 3 mins non stop - lungs ok it’s a (recently stopped) smoker’s artery problem with my legs. Best wishes to you for the rest of W4, I hope I get there soon👍
Hi pebbles back of knee pains come and go with me too, I just completed run 2 week 4 it's quite stressful on the legs for us novices, the right shoes, warm up and warm down exercises and lots of water has helped me, keep going well done for persevering
Hi i found week 4 really hard, i also didn't complete run 1 and i repeated the week and have just done w5 r1 and it was really good. there is no shame in a repeat!
I was the same, everyone gains fitness and stamina at different paces so honestly you will be fine- update us on how you get on!
