Week 4 done.

Today I did my 3rd week 4 run and according to Map my Run went further in less time. Can't wait for Tuesday to start week 5. Went shopping yesterday and got kitted out with a sports bra (hard to find one in my size), running trainers (blissful compared to my old trainers) and some comfortable Capri trousers to wear. Spent so much I will have to keep running to make it worth while!

I had a peek at week 5 - do they really think I can run for 20 mins? Well I never thought I would run for 5 mins so maybe, just maybe they are right. I hope so.

You'll do it Susan. The program has prepared you for this and you will feel great when you finish. Good luck

You can do it :-) the 20min sounds horrific but it is doable. I never in a million years thought I could do it but I did. It's definitely in the mind not the body.

Good luck

You will do it, the programme works. Your new gear particularly the shoes and bra are a great investment and you will definitely feel the benefit now you are running for longer distances. Enjoy the buzz you will have when you complete your next run : )

How did you find week 4? I have my first try on tuesday and think I'm going to struggle. Just looks so much tougher than 3!

I thought I would not manage the 5 minutes, but took it really slow and did it. I found that after the first 3 minute and 5 minute runs I was quite breathless, but the 2nd set seemed easier. I am sure that you will surprise yourself! Good luck.
