That was the hottest conditions I've run in so far and it definitely made it tougher. still pleased with the distance covered and pace though.

Will aim to get out earlier on Sunday for the 25 minute run before it gets too hot.

We’re on the same run as you today, thankfully the forecast here for Sunday and the 25 minute run is nice and cool!

Neck and neck!

How are you getting on?

Far better than I expected but I am EXTREMELY slow. Never imagined after that first run that I would get anywhere near week 6. Are you enjoying it? I have now started walking with my husband on the rest days to make up for not running 😂

I wouldn't worry about being slow, I'm sure the speed will increase over time.

I am enjoying it overall and I find that I kiss it on the rest days, so must be a good sign.

That was supposed to say "miss" not "kiss" 🤦🏻‍♂️

Thank you.

I pause my Fitbit when the walking section starts then restart when I run again. I only really use the pace as a gauge on the longer continuous runs, such as the 30 minute on w5 and the 25 minute run coming up on W6. My target is to hit 5k before w9 if possible.

Good luck with R3 too.
