Ok Lesson learnt - never drop your car at the dealership and decide to run home - get changed into running stuff and put clothes in rucksack to run with, did it but seriously sweaty (sorry) πŸƒπŸ»πŸƒπŸ»πŸ˜œπŸ˜œ

I am loving the rose and green combo. Carrying extra weight with the rucksack πŸŽ’ too, that's like being told you have got to go up a run... must have made a difference to your stamina and also concentration because carrying stuff is such a pain. Brilliantly done

Did you get changed in the dealership? Bet that raised an eyebrow or two.

Unless you drive a Vauxhall.

Sounds an eminently sensible plan. Why would you not do it again?

Haha yes it was a bit Clark Kent as changed from office wear! Just found the rucksack a bit restrictive especially up hills - maybe when I've done 9 weeks it will be easier!

It's great for building stamina. Get one which has chest straps as well so it doesn't move around too much, and stick a couple of bricks in there. Or a spare car battery.

Chest straps definitely make a difference (even if not running - but when wetsuit is wet!)

Wow that's some dedication. I'd be ina heap before starting the 'proper' run. Well done.

Dear goodness I must stop and read properly. You got changed and then your run, was the run home not an extra run. Still very well done, especially with the rucksack.

Not what you're looking for?
